I engaged this week with my brother-in-law on pies. A pie seems to warm everyone’s heart. Most of my presence this week however has been with our worship team. We are still virtual but the worship team have been wonderful. I am here as their pastor and have listened to the spirit guide my in what the worship team needs. A word of encouragement, to be heard when we have had to deal with providing a meaningful virtual service. I have also been able to connect with one of our 12 year old members. Noah has taken over the audiovisual equipment and he has been doing a great job. The connection I have made with Noah has been invaluable because we now have this bond between us. As I think about being at the same time and day each week, this is what Sunday worship does. We know we can count on each other’s presence at this hour and day of the week.
