This week my brother in-law posted about a Texas-chili that he wanted to share. It looked like a good recipe. I believe he is planning on making it for the super bowl. When I clicked on the recipe, it took me to a Dad Does Cook. I found the sight pretty interesting. I never thought of my brother in law being on a site that highlighted dads that cook. Another member posted a piano bar video. What I am learning is that you can’t ever just look at a church member and only see them in one way. I have to remember to look beyond my initial observation.
Loving God, You have made all of us so differently. With our gifts and talents, we have the ability to serve you in unique and varying ways. Thank you for your creation and making not one of us the same. Give us all the eyes to see and the ears to hear your path for our lives and the church. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
